Goodbye Microsoft , google is here . Goobuntu or GooOS or whatever you like to call them is the news of today . Last few days , Us media spent sleep-less nights at google office to seek any info that they can have on google OS . Google OS which is supposed to be rolled out by 2010 is on fast track as said by most of the tech experts .

Google's money won't be made with search...that's small peanuts compared to selling access to the world's biggest, best, and most cleverly-utilized map of the web.
There are also some news about Gbrowser based on Mozilla which heavily feature loaded especially to work with all google based services like Gmail , Orkut , etc. Google could use their JavaScript expertise to build Mozilla applications. Built-in blogging tools. Built-in Gmail tools. Built-in search tools.

Google has introduced services that clearly indicate their desire to build a comprehensive “platform,” one that challenges Microsoft’s dominance in this area head on (Gmail, Desktop Search, now GD2, and Google Talk). So what is Google’s master plan? I believe they are once again going counterintuitive, but in a manner that hits Microsoft where it hurts most. Google will make Microsoft’s entire strategic plan and mission, which revolves around the continued proliferation and dominance of the desktop PC operating system, obsolete by making Google itself the operating system. The model they are pursuing is very similar to Sun Microsystems’ (Jonathan Schwartz’s) vision of turning computing into a utility, like electricity. The only difference is that Google is already almost there.

Woof , this stanford graduate baby company will soon be the biggest one in the world , i hope it maintain its 'free to user' policy .
